Moshe Shegal (latter changed to Chagall)l was a Russian-Belarusian-French painter of Jewish origin, who was born in Belarus on July 7th 1887. Chagall took inspiration from Belarusian folk-life, and portrayed many Biblical themes that reflected his Jewish heritage. In honor of his memory and his contributions to both the Jewish and artistic world Jewneric has chosen to post several of his selected works.



Zechariah Mehler has experienced over two decades deeply immersed in the customs, theories and mindset of the world wide kosher community, savoring a variety of cooking practices throughout the US, Europe, Asia and South America . While working to create these innovations Zechariah joined the writing staff of Kosher Today and became a weekly contributor to The New York Jewish Star as their food expert. Doing this plunged Zechariah into the highly competitive world of New York Kosher Restaurateurs and the even more critical examination of the New York Kashrus community; ultimately writing and experiencing the world of a Kosher Culinary Journalist.
