Yesterday morning, while going through the 150 or so feeds I try to keep up with, I came upon this video. A report on Jeff Pulver‘s breaksfast in Tel Aviv pans and interviews some of the attendees. Low and behold if two Jewneric authors weren’t there… Ezra Butler and Brian Blum.
Pulver, a big name in technology and telecommunications, has most recently become a pseudo-celebrity in Israel by visiting, meeting with, and investing in early stage Israeli companies. His breakfasts and social media networking events are always well attended (I was recently at one in DC), I highly recomment going if you have the chance.
I applaud his work, bringing press and eyes to this growing market. I hope that his work will bring far more investment and growth to Israel, which has only one real export: knowledge (via technology and torah, among other avenues).
