Why did you initially join Twitter?
I joined because I was curious about twitter. I had wondered what all the fuss was about.
How did you get involved with the Jewish community on Twitter?
I just started following some Jewish Twitters. I saw that there were some very knowledgeable people on Twitter so on occasion I would ask some questions. Others just seemed friendly and I would just start tweeting to people.
How has Twitter’s Jewish community changed your life?
I have found an amazing group of people on Twitter, a few of whom I have met in real life. I have received support and encouragement especially when I was trying to get pregnant and dealing with infertility. I also got started with some freelance writing with @interfaithfam and found a great support network for interfaith families.
What are the most interesting Jewish conversations taking place in your Twitter feed?
That’s a tough one. One I was hoping to get going was to read thoughts on this article.
Who are your favorite Jewish tweeters?
So many!

@G-dcast
@TheChaviva
@SwinTraining
@fncmullin
@koshereye
@SWmama
@Mayyihayyim
@interfaithfam
@PamReiss

@rgoldstand
@JYuter
@jewnet
@mominisrael

@hsabomilner
to name a few.
What’s the most interesting or out-of-the-box way you have used Twitter?
I have found an amazing infertility support network. I don’t know if that is out of the box or not. Infertility can be terribly isolating, and I found a group of people who understood what i was going through.
Also, I am working with @interfaithfam to develop a parenting support group for interfaith families here in my city. When i originally pitched the idea to the local Jewish Federation, I got turned down. @thewanderingjew (Benjamin) spoke with some representatives at Tribefest about my idea and they loved it. With Benjamin’s help, the idea was presented to the “right” people and we are working to develop the concept.
