Seeking a Different Birthright Israel experience
Over the past decade over 100,000 Jews from around the world have participated on Taglit Birthright Israel’s amazing 10-day trip. Each trip offers participants a unique experience to meet the people, taking in the culture, and seeing the beautiful land of Israel.
Having been a counselor on the trip a few years ago, I can attest that all the above is true. However, what I found was that certain programs lack a certain something that I couldn’t quite put my hands on… until recently.
Last year StandWithUs started a trip with the intention of providing an additional educational boost to the Birthright Israel experience. The trip tours around Israel, and enjoys the same fun activities and hikes as the other trips, however, this particular trip also meets with VIPs: Israeli journalists and members of government. The trip intends to give the participant an all around amazing and educational experience.
